Dominik Beber – Digital video pandemic: Improvise. Adapt. Overcome. Repeat.

Dominik is a digital video specialist, digital enthusiast and editor in chief of number one media brand for generation Z in Croatia – JoomBoos. INMA (International News Media Association) has recognised Dominik as a rising star in the media industry – giving him the award as one the best editor in chiefs that are under 30 years old. During his college years Dominik sent an open letter to the biggest commercial TV house in Croatia, volunteering his services just to get into the business. The company accepted and it was a wild ride for almost two years, during which he worked both as a TV and Web journalist before joining a digital marketing agency. Beber then transitioned to 24sata, where he was a video marketing specialist before moving to become the youngest editor-in-chief at JoomBoos, its Generation Z brand. Dominik launched an anti-bullying project, a “Fake or Fact” format, a print magazine for this age group, and expansion into Slovenia. Projects that he has worked on have won a total of 19 international media and marketing awards.
